Black Pearl is one of the largest and most ecological sailing yachts in the world. She should cross the Atlantic without burning even a litre of fossil fuel. This is thanks in part to her DynaRig sailing system and an innovative propulsion system that harvests kinetic ene gy under sail.
Awarded the most eco-friendly yacht award at the World Superyacht Awards. This stunning tri-deck ECO sailing superyacht is brand new to the charter market. Designed by Ken Freivokh and Nuvolari Lenard with Divergent Yachting as the Owners Representative, she was built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure.
Black Pearl features 3 awe-inspiring 70m Dynarig carbon masts which allow her to reach speeds in excess of 20knots under sail and to complete a transatlantic crossing with zero fossil fuel emissions.
S/Y Black Pearl can regenerate her own power at specific speeds to help with zero fossil fuel consumption and holds a battery bank to allow for periods of “Silent Ship.”
She is a true sailing yacht with a maximum sailing speed to date of 24.5knots.
